Today is the last day of Feeding Tube Awareness Week 2020. I hope you have learned something new this week! Feeding tubes do not have to be a permanent accessory. Some people may have them for life, some may have them for a matter of weeks. It all depends on WHY they have one.
LE’s g tube has allowed her to grow and Thrive. We are able to use it to get excess air out of her belly, increasing her comfort. We can push meds and fluids through it so she doesn’t have to taste them. When she’s sick, we don’t have to worry about dehydration!
LE’s g tube is a literal lifesaver. We are so grateful for modern medicine and an incredible team of doctors and nurses.
