Life is ridiculous. Seriously. In the past few months we’ve had to replace our water heater and furnace and then yesterday our washer died. Let me tell you, in a house with this many people, not having a washing machine is not an option. So now I’m the proud owner of a brand new washer. Yay me!
Isn’t adulthood weird? Like, as a kid you can’t wait to grow up, be an adult. You can do what you want, when you want! Then you grow up and get excited about picking out new appliances. “Ooh. This one has a steam cycle! And the drum is huge. We could wash our blankets so easily!”
Life is weird. Life is ridiculous. But you know what? It needs to be. How boring would it be if it wasn’t?
Having four kids with various special needs is challenging. Having a house that is systematically destroying appliances one by one is challenging. But it sounds like life to me.
Hey, I bought my washer because it was the only front-loader I could find with a warm rinse cycle and it came in Mediterranean blue. 😂
Haha that’s great! It’s funny what helps us decide! Mine is gray-ish, black-ish. And I try to avoid front loaders because I’m that person that starts a load of laundry and finds more like 5 minutes later haha
