Life has been busy here lately. As per usual this time of year, the illnesses are rotating through the house.
LB started off with a sore throat and cough, made worse by her asthma.
LN then started puking, which lasted several days. It took him almost a week to get back on his feet (which is a lifetime to an ADHD kidlet!)
LK has managed to stay healthy so far, which is wonderful! Our weather is all over the place, so her knee has been bothering her a lot, but she’s doing well overall.
LE just started puking. She’s feeling pretty crummy, but hanging in there. As always, we are grateful we can use her g tube to vent her belly and provide fluids.
In the midst of the chaos, we brought home our newest family member. His name is Mouse. He’s a Tibetan Mastiff puppy, currently 2 months old and tipping the scales at 19.5 lbs. He’s fearless, and noisy, and very loved. He’s brought a lot of comfort and joy to the sick kidlets (and their exhausted parents!)
